Months before that, i started searching for umrah package. Than my Along's family also made a plan to go. After the news broke, my youngest brother, my mother and my auntie also wished to join the journey. At last , there were 12 of us, when we managed to get an umrah package that can bring us there during cold season and be first group of umrah immediately after hajj.
So, 12 January 2009, 12 of us together with another 80 people, boarded the same plane that had brought back the last group of hajj.
We reached Jeddah after 8 hours journey. Than by bus, to Madinah. We reached Madinah around 2 am local time/ 7 am Malaysian time on 13 January. At the age of 42, i caught my first glimpse of Masjid Nabawi
Then, on 16 January, we made the important trip , we wore ihram and headed to Mecca, to perform the umrah...
It was not like any other trip before, it was a trip for the heart......deep inside.
Trip for the soul. Cleansing, recuperating, rejuvenating.......
Nothing to think about....nothing to worry......nothing to search.....no more day dreaming.
Just waiting for the next prayer time.....
Again and again heading to Baitullah.....day and night....together with streams of ummah on the road and doves flying in the sky.....such a beautiful moment....no words can describe the feeling.
Ya Allah invite us again...always intive us.
